Christopher J. Fain
​President

​Christopher works as a paralegal at the Albany law firm of Powers & Santola.  Christopher has volunteered with numerous other local organizations.  It was that volunteer “work” that lead him down the road to forming Kindness Is Foundation, Inc.
 
Christopher earned Bachelor of Science degrees in human services as well as business administration. 
 
Christopher was born and raised in Schoharie County and has lived in the upstate New York area his entire life.  He has three fur-babies and currently resides in Albany County.

Chelsea Lynn Flach
Vice President

Chelsea is currently working as a cosmetologist and bridal specialist at Platinum Hair Studio in Clifton Park!

Chelsea hails from Langhorne, PA and currently resides in the Capital Region with her husband Keith, two daughters and their family dog.  Chelsea has done charity work along side her husband for the past six years locally, while also teaming up with a charity on the west coast.  While doing their charity work through her husband's modified racing career, she crossed paths with Christopher which led her to joining in this amazing cause. 

“I am very honored and excited to be working alongside Chris and the team he has created.  The amount of love in this group is truly one of a kind and I know we all can’t wait to help others.”

Tanya L. Haas
​Treasurer

​Tanya L. Haas serves as Vice President, Wealth Advisor at Berkshire Bank where she has spent most of her career.  Tanya holds a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA®) Designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers. 

Born and raised in Berkshire County, MA, Tanya has always had a passion for giving back to her community.  She is a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish Northeastern NY and also volunteers her time with Elder Services of Berkshire County Money Management Program and Special Olympics of Massachusetts.  Tanya is an active Blood Donor, and is registered with “Be the Match” to hopefully become a bone marrow donor. 

“My philosophy is to do for others when you are able, as you never know when you will be the one in need.  So when the opportunity presented itself to serve on the Kindness Is Foundation board, I jumped right in.  I’m honored to be a part of this amazing organization whose mission mirrors my values.”

​Tanya is married with one son and resides in Pittsfield, MA.

Elizabeth A. Dellea
​Secretary

Beth Dellea serves as the Deputy Chief Customer Officer at NYS Teachers’ Retirement System and has been there for over 30 years.  Beth has her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Siena College. 
 
Beth grew up in West Sand Lake, NY and attended Averill Park High School, where her two daughters also graduated.  Beth has been a volunteer for the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society before becoming a volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House, where she met Christopher Fain, the President of Kindness Is.  When Christopher approached her with his vision for the foundation, she was excited to be part of it of making it a reality.

Bobbi Ryan
​Director of Marketing and Public Relations

Bobbi is a fifth-generation resident of Schoharie County and has raised her five children with her husband, Steve.  As a marketing, public relations manager and advertising specialist with more than 15 years of experience, Bobbi is a successful Real Estate Agent servicing all areas of New York.

Bobbi has extensive, practiced knowledge of small business management and has cultivated an expansive network of relationships spanning both business owners and community members due to her volunteer work and event organizing.

In 2019, Bobbi was invited to join the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce where she now chairs the Marketing Community.
